There's the Speedway and two nearby racetracks. Been to the one north of Fishers and Noblesville (Hoosier Park). Had a great time. (Racetrack and casino combo). I guess the one on the SE side of Indy is even nicer, but we haven't been there.
For shopping there's the new and rather unique Hamilton County Mall (Outdoor mall)
Have a daughter and son-in-law that live there and could probably conjure up other attractions.
We also like Chattanooga. That new Aquarium sounds fantastic. And, of course, there's the Civil War sites. Another good choice.
PF probably has the closest thing to a demographics list. That list he uses when a disaster strikes and area and he identifies who might be affected.

Oops ... I guess PF already posted that. Me bad.

Depending on financial status, I can probably hit pretty much anywhere in or around Tennessee. That's either Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia.....

the aquarium is TWO big buildings that takes a minimum of 2-3 hours to view all of it Me & the fam love it. There's "Jack's Alley" with a bunch of restaurants to choose from...Plus lots of other food places around. The Chickamauga Battlefields are close by for the history buffs..as well as Stone Mountain, GA; the Incline; and other such Civil War memorabilia type places/monuments. There's even a "preserved" monument on the side of the hill near my job here...called Boynton Park. There's a Drive-In theater about a 15-20 min drive just outside Chattanooga--a family friendly environment, but fun none the less. Plus, for those that would enjoy the walk through our downtown, we have a walking ghost tour complete with story tellers (Chattanooga Ghost Tours). The Chattanooga Duck tours (by duck boat) on the river and our own Southern Belle Riverboat.

Chattanoogie has long been a fave day trip for me, only 120 miles from Nashville. Also an excellent halfway point for trips to Atlanta, which makes the 'Noog a central point for 2 large well-known southern cities.
Personal fave tourist traps in the area include Ruby Falls (cool caving, but not for claustrophobics) and Lookout Mountain is another great Civil War hangout. Rock City I found overrated, & my acrophobia won't let me even look at the Incline
And the TN Aquarium was tres cool when I visited last, if it's been improved it must be overwhelming now.

Hey Scotz, if it ends up being being Chattanooga maybe this time we can actually run into each other.

If we told PF that they'd be holding their annual Summer "Panty" Festival, do you think he'd get excited about going?

I am going to stay quiet, as my track record sucks. But if I can make it, I will try.

There is also an historic Rail Road in Chattanooga. Just south of there is the Chicamuga Civil War Battlefield in Georgia, hope I spelled it right. There is also the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel that is Made from Rail Road passenger Cars.
Other than that how about Calgary, or Edmonton Alberta?

You can also find in Chattanooga....
The Station House Restaurant (spiffy, converted from the rail station's baggage room, usually with live entertainment and happy birthday serenade from a talented, and usually hot, serving staff)
Our fabulous little Warner Park Zoo where you can see a wide variety of animals and ladies might get their skirt nibbled on in the petting zoo.
There is also the Bluff View Art District located just a short walk from the Aquarium. There you can visit the beautiful mansion converted into what is now The Hunter Art Museum, browse little shops or snag some coffee at one of the cafes.
Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park located just over the line in Rossville Georgia.
Or maybe a day trip to the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg.
We've lots of options to choose from. It just depends on if you want the big city or the little city with a little bit of history.
And yes, we do have Starbucks! You won't go without caffeine, great bbq or some(one)thing fun to do.

Lynchburg is a bit of a drive from Chattanooga I believe. It's literally only a little over an hour from where I live.
