Ya know...now that you mention it, blues music has always been full of double-entendres, like "Back Door Man", "Dust My Broom", and others that I can't quite remember because it's past midnight here, hehe.

PS - I just figured out what "Dust My Broom" meant the other week

Ive had an all day marathon and went through 6 Led Zepelin CD's, found that the type of sex went right along with the speed of music.

for me.
I would say sonic youth (a few from daydream nation) and smashing pumpkins (the adore/machina albums in particular)
come to mind. I haven't tried it, I know my girlfriend likes the pumpkins more since we started going out due to ME but blah. She gets me in the mood all by herself, no need for sensual music really. I love her very much.

For sex. ANYTHING. Pretty much. Any love songs or anything. Radiohead I used to get down with, cuz I'd pull all nighters and me and my girl would just drift in and out of moods. And the newest Janet Jackson album is hot. ^_^

Dust off the old 45's.

Best music for romance was "bend it" by someone.

Best long piece is Bolero.

Ive never had sex but a lot of songs get me in the mood: Miss Lucifer by Primal Scream, The Ultimate Fuck Song by Moby, Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls (its just incredibly romantic, plus i had my first kiss listening to it).

Not to put down anyone's taste in music, but that hardcore/heavy stuff puts me in the mood to break shit, not make love..lol. I'm with the people that voted for blues or jazz. Some of Harry Connick Jr's earlier stuff is good, Bonnie Raitt is good too. Last couple girls I've been with have actually picked out CD's before we got in bed, one was Savage Garden's Affirmation and the other was Melissa Etheridge's Your Little Secret. Anything by Sarah McLachlan or some of Allison Krauss's newer stuff will always get me in the mood. Allison's voice must be the sexiest I've ever heard, but some of Sara's vocals/moans on Fumbling Towards Extacy put me over the edge instantly.

Just my 2 cents..lol.

This is really topical for me, because i've been promising myself i'll compile a tape of stuff to get it on to.

It will definitely contain Darren Hayes, 'Insatiable' - perhaps a little bit poppy, but the sentiment's all there, Norah Jones, 'Turn Me On' and some old stuff. For some reason 'Son of a Preacherman' has always been a favourite and who couldn't perform a strip tease to Etta James, 'I just want to make love to you'.

On a, really pounding it hard, kind of note i love Meatloaf, "Paradise by the dashboard light" - it's just so hormonal and teenaged, but then again i'd probably forget about the sex and just start losing it to the music. I've never been good at combining sex and music or food and sex and i'm pretty sure that combining all three would be a disaster!

Journey's...."Lovin, Touchin, Squeezing"

Aerosmith's......."Don't Want to Miss a Thing" (Anything Steven Tyler does puts me in the mood but when he screams........I scream and cream!)

Prince........When Doves Cry (amoung others)

Ravel's (spell check?) Bolero........(If you have never seen "10" go rent it!)

And of course the theme song from "George of the Jungle"........LOL! Now I've got you singing it, huh?

You will think I am a dork but I like a little classical music during love making. Chopin and Beethoven get me off.

If I am with a guy that doesnt like classical I will put on techno or rock music...depending on the guy.
