I begin by saying, "Tess, you are the most wonderful woman I could ever imagine. You are lover, sister, mother, friend, whore, etc. You are all women. Not so fast! I see you and I read these words and I think WOW I have missed this man so much. I have thought of you, wondered how you are and hoped that your world is happy.

I try to show it in loads of ways. He says he realized early in the relationship that I must love him when I got him a drink of water before he realized he was thirsty. So, apparently, that's one of the ways I show it.
No damned idea what it means, mind you....but maybe someone here will "get it".

Make (or buy) her the best breakfast she ever had, bring it to the bedroom, open the door, say "Shhhhh", gently place it on her lap, and feed the whole thing to her, gazing lovingly into her eyes all the time.
Repeat the "Shhh!" part again, duck under the blanket and then feed on HER.
