Wow, I think there is something wrong with those trees. They are turning colors and such.
Down here, the trees are green, but then we only have 2 seasons---summer, and that weekend in February that is summer light.
Course, it is very warm all year, so people tend to wear less clothes, so I guess it balances out

We have two seasons here, a green summer and a brown one.
Still warm all year round.
Those pics from M45 looked soooooooooo cold.

mcjim623---I was in Texas in the winter months of 1961/2.I went
to tech.school in Witchita Falls. It sure was cold, standing in formation there,it also snowed!
D.B.Great pictures. We had some beautiful fall foliage here.I was going to take some pictures of it,but after the high winds & rain
last night, there are more leaves on my lawn, then on the trees!

Thanks everyone, for the comments. I love taking pictures and fall is an especially nice time to do so.
MilkToast, I also have a thing for trains. This is a track leading to Peoria. I think I've got a few other "track" pictures. I'll try to find them and post them. Oh yeah, the tracks are still used.
M45, it's too bad the aspens aren't in their full fall glory, I know how beautiful that can be. Your pictures are terrific and really capture the up and coming winter looking at the snow line just a high mile or so higher in elevation. Bet that's gorgeous when the snow line reaches you.
Again, thanks, everyone.

Wonderful db! And isn't it so nice to see that the grass has stayed green all summer.....so that in this autumn we get to still appreciate it as the leaves are on their way out? Usually, by this time of year around our place, the grass had been so dehydrated that it's brown and dormant. Oh....Mother Nature is far too good to us! TY for the time check hun! I'd get some too..but with this wind lately I'd fall over and you'd only get to see the sky! LOL!
M45......Stunning pics! TY hun!
Welcum to Pixies mcjim623!

I know this is kind of mute -- but just ran accross it today -- haven't been paying attention again -- anyway, while hunting, I notice something that had never really caught my eye before, change in weather from top land to bottom land created a very interesting shot of fall -- thought it was kind of strange until I thought about it -- about a 9-1100 ft. difference in elivation really made a difference -- anyway -- thought I would share this also

Those are beautiful pics there. I wish it looked like that where I live. Unfortunately in Texas all we have is cloudy skies and humidity for right now...

Striper Fishing
And some info for the anglers.......36" striped bass (weight unknown), caught in the breakwater (where the ocean meets the bay) in Cape May, N.J. on November 1, 2003. We've gotten larger ones....but it was a slow day!
Thought I'd share!
