Shaving is for double-jointed masochists who can see around corners. Get yourself a good depilatory cream. It leaves much smoother for much longer, and there are never any ingrown hairs. It might take a few tries to pcik one that suits your skin, but it's worth the effort. Milady is currently in love with Marzena which is quick and easy, and contains an inhibitor to slow regrowth.

I bought a number of containers of the Marzena---regular and for sensitive skin. Like an idiot, I tried the regular first. It burned the heck out of me; I was sored for days. I still plan to try the sensitive; if I have problems w/it, too, I'll gladly send the remaining containers I haven't opened to whomever would want them. I think I'm stuck with razors and electric shavers.

Buffay - the best way to get rid of ingrowns is to exfoliate after shaving.
Regular exfoliant that you would use on your face or whatever should be fine.
Hope this helps!

We have been looking at depilatory creams and all that we have found, cannot be used around the anus or vaginal areas..... Would luv to find some that can be used there..... sure would be easier..

I'm wondering the same Cheyanne, a depillatory cream that is safe to use around the sensitive areas.
I wonder if the Laser Hair Removal people get many requests to remove pubes, i sure wouldn't mind losing mine permanently.

Anyone done the hair removal via electrolysis? I've been curious too...

Bah I'll stick to soap and a razor in the bath or shower.

I find that if I use a nice sharp razor, it works better. Closer shave and less razor burn. I usually put a new blade in my razor if I've use it a few times, or I just use a new disposable one.
Hope this helps !!!

I've found that Jergens makes a wonderful product and I have absolutley fallen in love with it... Its a moisturizer but its also a hair growth inhibitor. Jergens "Naturally Smooth - shave minimizing moisturizer"
Works wonders! It takes a few weeks for it to inhibit the hair growth. Ive been using it for about a year and I rarely shave my legs any more...
