*Packing a picnic basket with brew and wine and cheese and strawberries and chicken and raw veggies and all sorts of stuff (and some fun toys and delicious lube) and heading off to the sit it out with skip*
My ex used to send me "just because" flowers at work and I'd get some ooooooooo's and ahhhhhhhh's and then there'd be those very few who said, "He musta done SOMETHING wrong cause men just don't send flowers for nothing. My response (after getting my fill of this old biddy bitterness) was......"Well, maybe my husband really does love me and doesn't just stick around for fear of my wrath.....like yours obviously does"!!!!!! Oh, the looks on their faces was priceless!
My husband (now).............should he ever bring home a flower for me........I check to see if there is a card reading, "Uncle Louie....Our Beloved.....He will be missed".......cause he prolly passed a cemetary on the way home! LOL!

My husband and I have been married for 7 years and he has always done sweet things like that for me and probably always will. He is always buying me flowers or just doing things to make me feel special. I think its a wonderful thing to have someone in your life that makes you feel that special.

I can honestly say that my SO has never sent me flowers. In fact, he's only given me a single rose in the past. That being said, I would not jump to conclusions that he had done something he was trying to kiss up for, I would just assume he had FINALLY caught on to all the unsubtle hints I have dropped in the past. *sigh* Alas, my SO does not have a romantic bone in his body....his idea of romance is to curl up in front of the fire and watch(get this) FOOTBALL

How lucky that girl is to have a SO who sends flowers. Tell her not to pay any attention to those negative, bitter old ladies.
She should just go home and spend a terrific evening showing her love, first a nice home cooked candle light dinner, a soak in the tub together and then a long night of ,,,,,, I'm thinkng they may both need to call in sick for work tomorrow so they can rest up. lol

I just think it's pretty amusing that something as so small as flowers can strike up so many feelings from so many people.

I think flowers or little special gifts to a loved one are great. Try to do that for my wife every now and then.
Hmmm, I wonder why she's holding that new hammer I got her that way?
Just teasing.
