Living in La., I have reason to go to Texas often. When you live in La., Texas is this huge hulking presence always so close, and so dominant in the politics and lives of the people here. There was a swingers club in Austin, next door to a totally nude bar! ( my first visit to a totally nude bar, it was so different from the topless only ones we have here). There was this nude "beach" , really a lot of huge rocks, on a beautiful lake I visited that same weekend. That was fun!!
Dallas and Houston are just HUGE!!!
I have plans to go to a resort island there this summer, and am looking forward to it!!
