I have always considered Pixies folk to be a family of sorts because of the caring nature and acceptance of the people that frequent it.

The way we put our feelings, doubts, happy times out there and the reaction you get to them. Always supportive and helpful even when people do not agree with each other, it never becomes abusive. We have a great place here.

It has been so reinforced with the planning of my trip. There are so many of my Pixies friends that have invited me to stay in their homes that I am quite overwhelmed. I mean this is real life stuff not people being anonymous and they know so much intimate stuff about me and I them, It makes me get the warm fuzzies deep inside.

All in all it is places like Pixies that are the antidote for the Osama Bin ladens and terrorists, we practise tolerance and promote friendship and caring between ourselves no matter where we come from, what our ethnic or religous differences are and we come from all over the globe. How come we can do it yet others can't?

When you look at it in that light, we are pretty special people and have a very special piece of the internet.
