So I was at the video store last week in the adult section when that title jumped out at me. I suppose it’s about a planet where there are no men since it's labeled as “all-girl”, it seems like a fairly rational assumption to me).

Although a porn movie rarely provokes any kind of deep thoughts, this one did get me thinking a bit.

Let's say all men disappear from the planet. How long do you think it would take for most women to go lesbo? Would they even (for nominally straight women)? I'm sure it would be heaven for lesbians, but would a pretty much heterosexual straight-arrow woman be able to contain her sexual urges for the rest of her life is even if other women were here only sexual outlet? I wonder what the percentages of gay women would be 5, 10, 20, and 30 years after men went the way of the Do-do? If all men went extinct you had better be DAMNED sure that my ghost is gonna stay and hang around to get an eyeful of all the sapphic action going on!

btw, maybe I should rent the damn movie next time instead of pondering such stupid and unlikely occurances? lol

I totally understand the adaption thing...but if it were a world of only guys...i'd become extint like the dinosoars...well, they are sorta extinct except for that movie where the found an egg (reign of fire, going to see it soon i hope)

lol, of course you would, ALL men would! It’s the same case with a planet of only women. I suppose initially there would be a bigger and nastier run at the sperm bank than at a half-off sale at Kolhs. lol

However, ultimately it would be futile, as it would not be nearly enough to continue the species indefinitely without us men (or in our case without women). Cloning is too far off in the future to be a viable option for a species-wise method of reproduction as well. We would all be dead in one or two generations. :whiteghos
