My comments on other movies here:
Slingblade, great flick, Thortons last great movie, and I wish he would write more, that seems to be what he is best at.
Fight Club, ok movie with an awesome ending.
Pulp Fiction: it is in my top 10 faves and just turned indies on their heads

Ok..another I left out...Vulgar by Brian Johnson. It can be worked into the 4-part "Jersey Trillogy" by Kevin Smith. Kevin Smith(Silent Bob), Jason Mewes(Jay), Brian Christopher O'Halloran(Dante) are all in it. It shows a different side of Dante, he really has the stuff to be a dramatic actor, and Brian Johnson (Steve-Dave) shows his stuff as director. A REALLY f-ed up movie, but good all the same, go rent it if you can.

I was just "fixin' " to say, "speaking of Kubrick..."
"2001..." WAS indeed a weird movie. I wish I would have seen it BEFORE I went out and bought it.
Also, speaking of Tarantino... (Pulp Fiction) I hated "Natural Born Killers" the first couple of times I saw it -but I eventually got used to it.
(It was my ex-girlfriend's favorite movie and she used to watch it a lot)

Natural Born Killers was an Oliver Stone flick...all of his other stuff has been great, (Platoon, JFK) but Natural Born Killers was a piece of shit. I've watched it many times, trying to find the artistic meaning in it. I still find it as a piece of trash, the only movie I've ever walked out of. I rented it after the fact..and it was still horrible.
