So, I'm back after living through the 14 -hour power outage, and even longer internet outage. As measured in a non-drift area of our yard, 83cm (about 33inches). More snow on the way tomorrow, predicted anywhere from 10cm to 25cm (4in to 10in). Bring it on, bitches!
Naked snow angels tonight, it will have to be after dark, if I can persuade my wife to go out with the camera and document such. No point in doing it if I can't document it, even though I hate to have my picture taken.

Yeah, I told Dearsweet that she could expect 8 inches or so tomorrow evening, and she asked who I was bringing home to have dinner with us.

We're expecting 4-7" tonight here tonight. Probably got an inch or two today and a bit more is expected Wednesday. |

A couple of gallons of cordial or coke concentrate and you can have the BEST snowcones.

Another foot of snow is predicted to fall here this evening.

road crews in this area have stopped working, due to dangerous blizzard conditions...

We've got the same conditions here in the Northern VA DC suburbs. I grew up in Ohio and went to college in NY and this is probably in my top 5 worst snow events. It sure is pretty though....
