it's not hard, you know. not really. poetry doesn't have to rhyme, and can even be simply seventeen syllables long (haiku). the easiest way to start is to describe something in your own words.. someone, a moment, an event, a view, anything. write it out, then try to rewrite your thoughts so that it flows...
