Workplace relationships?

I'm sure this has probably been disucssed somewhere before but anyhow I just got a new job and good lord, there's this hottie next door and it's got me curious *hey i'm single lol*

The problem is that i've got NO experience in workplace relationships so I'm trying to fish out whether she's single or not and ask her out for some coffee sometime. Any clever lines i could use as we've just talked professionally and a little bit about our past lives.

Mmmmmm, even though she's a hottie are you really sure you want to get into a workplace romance? They really can get pretty messy.

My only advice would be just take the time to get to know her a little bit. Small talk around the office is eventually going to lead to you finding out if she's available. Chances are the topic comes up rather quickly. Next time you're heading to get yourself a cup of coffee just stop by and let her know you're going and see if she'd like for you to bring her a cup. Hey she may even decide she'll go with you to get it.

Friends first, relationship second. It's best to be cautious when you work with someone.

It's much easier when she plays in another sandbox.

During my working years I had a couple different workplace affairs...one almost lost me my job because the lady in question worked for me. Some of the other people working for me complained to my boss that I was playing favorites.....luckily about that time she transfered to another dept.
One thing to remember about a workplace relationship is that if you start dating someone and you end up not liking each other you are still going to have to work together.
