Hey Sports Fans!
It's now October, while I hate fact that winter is coming soon, I really DO like fall, because as a big sports fan, you have SO many choices.
What sports to you watch on TV or even try and get to the games to watch?
Baseball Playoffs
College Football
NFL
Hockey
What are you watching?

If I have the time and the game is on one of the 4 channels on the tv in the common room and that no one else is watching something, I'll try and watch a few of the Canadiens games. Heck, since I'm in Montréal, I might even go see them play one of these days...

Pixie Sprite,
as a hockey fan,I insist that you MUST go watch "Les Habitants".
I HATE the Canadiens, but still respect them enough to know that you need to experience seeing them!!

I only started watching hockey because of Lake - and his fave team is the Habs so I root for them too
I actually saw my first professional hockey game last spring - the Habs were in the Playoffs and Lake and I were able to get tickets! I loved it (even though they lost lol).

While it may not get much air time, Vladimir Kramnik and Veselin Topalov are locked in a close match for the World Chess Championship. Kramnik, who beat Gary Kasparov of the Man v Machine (IBM’s Deep Blue) fame, has been leading the challenger.
Topalov’s a great player, but I’m betting that Kramnik will see him off.
