Turn, turn, turn
On this big blue marble.
Here is how I spent an hour today...
I explained to my littlest kiddo that had it not been his "no electronics" day he never would have even noticed it.

(a good day to see new life in the making)
Great pics Lil. Were those taken on an exploratory outing or an observed happenstance?
Is the nest in a location you could easily monitor it for the hatching?

Kiddo came running in, "mom you got to see this" (does anyone remember the 4 foot iguana he found?) so I run/creep out there to find her digging a hole across the street. The house is vacant but owned. Supposedly it takes 3 months to hatch and the likelihood is that the raccoons will get to them first.

Lil, go to Home Depot and buy some stuff that chases pests like raccoons away. You spray it and the scent forces them to move on. That will give those little turtles a chance to at least hatch.
Cool stuff!

ppfffftt
ok, I wouldn't put them in the neighbor's garden, I'd have them in an aquarium, tucked nice and sound in the same kind of earth that the momma had buried them in. They'd be a nice Halloween present

Let's see
key words, "accross the street" ...... "vacant" ...... "creep" ....."shovel"
