In WA a woman is selling the right to name her baby on eBay and another is taking bids on using her pregnant belly as advertising space until the baby's due date. But I see nothing about eBay allowing the sale of a live infant. Would love to read it Mark...

Well ebay pulled her post off as it was deemed inappriate/offensive. So you won't find it there. The couple in WA are only selling the naming rights of the child.
I saw the story tonight on "a current affair". Now from what I saw, she is going to sell the baby to a corporation so they can use it as advertising for their products. The mother's reason was so that she wouldn't have to live off welfare benefits. And also so that her child has a secure future.
As I said before, I'm looking for a link, but can't find the story anywhere. I think it was deemed offensive and so never made it to the net.
This is the only thing I can find. I can find nothing anywhere about a live infant being sold. Only advertising rights or naming priviledges. You would think if someone was selling a real infant it would have made the news on the web somewhere. I checked the "A Current Affair" website and can not find mention of it listed in any of their stories either.
