Damned Cell Phone Companies!

So I signed up for a cell phone in February. The guy at the store apparently got my address wrong, and so I've been waiting for a bill. Have called before, but never seemed to have a problem. Today, I find out that my address was wrong, and I have $140 due to the company for cell services.

It's not even my fault, cus I spelled everything for the people!

GRARRRR!!!!

At least you didn't find out after 3 months of automatic bank payments, that you were being charged almost double your normal service. See, there's always a silver lining.

Oh man! That sucks!

I had a friend who got a fridge on a "90 days...same as cash", meaning...she wouldn't be billed till 90 days after her purchase (a grace period, if you will). Well, after the 90 days...and on up to several months later, she had still not recieved her bill. She says she called and even went into the store to see what happened (but, to be honest...I remember her saying she wasn't going to blow on a smoldering fire) and still no bill. Finally, one day she got a bill asking her to pay off the thing in 1 month. She argued the point...but had she been paying all the while, it would have been her last payment by that months end. They had her address wrong and was sending the bill to the same name, different address...and it was being ignored.

I guess my point is...we never get something for nothing and I tried to tell her that initially. You'll be glad to know that I DIDN'T say "I told you so", when she got hit with the final bill! But, I was tempted! If it had of been me, I would have insisted that they check the records and go over the info they had for me. I always hate the karma that comes with situations like this!
