What about Cowboy Bebop, or Evangelion?

I could make a long list of shows I like. Some I haven't seen much of, some may be before your time, and some are romantic comedies which I probably shouldn't admit to.

Are you familiar with Saint Seiya? It might not have been the first anime series I ever saw, but it's the one I credit with having made me a fan.

Smile Sadly I have not heard of it.

I first got into heavily into Anime once I saw Kimera and Ghost in the shell.... And then I saw Vampire hunter D the old original one not the new bloodlust one... and ever since then I was truely Addicted to Anime... and I now Own all the ones I named cept Dragon Ball Z which my friend owns nearly all 200+ episodes on DVD lol I think he was a bit nuts on DBZ too much lol... he plans to get all of the Dragonball Series including the very first ones and GT soon as they come out dubbed in english.

Most of what I've collected is fansubs, downloaded and put on CD. I've got all of Cowboy Bebop that way except for the movie, which I haven't seen yet. I'm also a Dragonball fan, especially the original series. Someday I'll get serious about buying DVDs, and that's on my list. I rented a DVD with a few episodes of Sorceror Hunters, and remember thinking it wasn't bad. One episode stood out as being more dramatic than I expected after watching the others. Have you seen a show called Those Who Hunt Elves?

One of the true tests of that is: will you watch it subtitled?

Which brings up another question: have any of you learned much Japanese from watching anime? I've picked up a little here and there. That's one reason I prefer subtitles.

Love Hina is one of my favorites. I'd like to see more Onegai Teacher, but haven't been able to find any.
