Same sex kissing: double standard?
Hi everyone!
I'm interested in your thoughts on this. The other day I was watching tv with some (male) friends, and Jerry Springer was on. And two gay guys kissed right on the screen. I was amazed at how all my friends were like "ohhh! That's gross!" and stuff. I couldn't figure it out. If two lesbians kiss, they'd be like "awesome!!"
Being bi-sexual myself, I don't care who kisses who on TV. It doesn't make any difference to me.
I've noticed this kind of reaction several times with different people now. They're all 'tolerant' of people's sexuality, although they're all straight. They don't know I'm bi.
So I'm wondering what people think about this. Are lesbians more acceptable than gay guys these days? Or are my friends just less tolerant than everyone else?
Wondering what you think,
