Heres the thing, she could be allergic to the latex, she could be allergic to the spermicide, but you will never know until she goes to the doctor. It is for her on safety, I mean geez 8 or 9 months, that could have done some major damage if it was infected. BUt on another note and please do not take this the wrong way, but maybe this is her nice way of telling you that she isn't ready for sex. When I first had sex I gave my boyfriend so many excuses as to why we couldn't "fool around" and as to why we couldnt have sex. Be patient,respectful, and understanding with her.
