A long time ago...
Well, 30 years ago... a film was released that changed not only how the world looked at Sci-Fi movies, but revolutionized the special effects industry.
Happy Anniversary Star Wars!!!
I know this doesn't mean beans to some of you, (no film is loved by everyone), but for me, seeing Star Wars for the first time was an awesome and unforgettable experience.
Star Wars is a movie I can watch over and over (and have) without getting tired of it, so to George Lucas, I salute you! :waves: (Closest thing to a salute smilie)

Hard to believe it's been that long. I'm like you, Aqua, I never get tired of watching it over and over again. I think it was last fall my wife and I watched all six episodes "in sequence" (1-2-3 ... 6). Loved it.

I can't find the link now, but there was a story on Comcast about the one guy they found that hasn't yet seen <any> of the Star Wars movies...

I'm part of that group of people. Never seen a single scene of any of the Star Wars movies.
About all I know of the movie(s) is that James Earl Jones was Darth Vader (right?) and he was Luke's father. Although I have absolutely no idea what that means to the story.
I do know as well that if you refer to the one character as "the monkey guy" that one of my friends will get completely pissed off. It's really pretty funny to see.

Every time I see this thread I start singing,
