Hi All What song
So in an attempt to be a better citizen here in pixieland, I thought I'd ask all my fellow pixian's this simple question hehe lol. What song do you love and why and which song do you hate with an effing passion. and why. Also to avoid the obvious you can list more than one song for each. Here are mine Fav's Doors Strange cause it fit's me to a T and Metallica's Entere Sandman cause it was the first cd i ever bought. For songs I hate and forgive me for those that do like these I FUCKING HATE with a passion that Barbie song, I want to find that group and commit unspeakeable acts of pain and agony on them. And that dogg gone milkshake song if i ever hear it again im gonna hunt her down and stick her in a god damned blender and make her into a real milkshake. Sorry for being so evil but the summer that shit single dropped I was in Iraq and they afrts dj's played it over and over again. Ok that's mine now all you Pixian's dig into those old cd's cassett's eight tracks and lp's lets see what we all llike to listen too. Yer ole Pal Ironhide the iritable one.

Funny enough, I believe the Barbie song you are referring to is by a band called...
Aqua.

Well for hate... there's quite a few, but I really dislike Hollaback Girl. Just... wtf? Really now.
And as for favorites.... let's let my iTunes do the talking...
I Still Haven't Found (What I'm Looking For) by U2 - or pretty much any U2 song. I recently read in RS that there are U2 churches... that would so be for me. And no, not like churches worshipping U2, but churches that base sermons and such on U2 lyrics. Fantastic.
O. Lover by Jason Mraz - it's just so catchy, and I love him.
All These Things That I've Done by The Killers. Listen to it, and you'll know.
Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. Just awesome.

Can' stand: "Light My Fire" as done by Jose' Feliciano. Running a hot second would be "Feliz Navidad" by the same person. No, I am not prejudiced. I just do not like his singing.
Really like: "Susudio" by Phil Collins. Just makes me smile and feel good.

NO shit there I hate Feliz Navidad by the douche bag as well. Leave the classics alone only the Doors should sing the Doors fer chris sakes. Oh Aqua I did know that I just didn't want to blast the name Aqua and have my fellow pixians think I was attacking you and thus wind up getting banned from Pixie land.
As for the rest of you Pixians come on now whats wrong with you Post them songs i love to see where musical tastes go from classical to some guy screaming nonesense into a mic. Please anybody Hello

Song that I love:
Kashmir by Led Zep. I love many Zep songs, but this is one I've always imagined would be great for sexy slow dancing, leading into sexy slow fucking.
Song that I hate:
Achy Breaky Heart. I don't think that needs any explanation.

Only reason I haven't replied to this thread is, well, music is my life, & I really don't have time to list ALL the songs I love, & I guess I do too good a job of blocking out the shit songs I hate...
Out of the classic era, I love almost anything by the giants of the times, some of which have already been mentioned; Beatles (esp, Abbey Road), Led Zep (aqua is is dead on about "Kashmir"), Doors(just downloaded the Very Best of), Pink Floyd (I can listen to "Echoes" or "Shine on, You Crazy Diamond" over & over with out getting tired of them)...
Hate: second the motion on "Achy Breaky Heart", & while Weird Al usually comes up with some good spoofs, he really bit the big one with that "American Pie" thing, turning it into
