Getting Over My Fears
How do you overcome a fear of commitment when you have been hurt in the Past??? I dont think for a second that my current B/f would ever do anything to hurt me but at times i find myself terrified at the seriousness of our relationship!!!! Yet I Wouldnt have it any other way!!!!

Don’t ‘commit’ anything against your laws. Just enjoy it.

Take your time. Make sure each step is a sure one, one you feel good about. Don't ever do something out of fear.
Most of all, enjoy the experience.

There are no guarantees in life...except that we are going to die someday.
Your fear of commitment is your self preservation mechanism, which we all have on different levels. Only a leap of blind faith can get you past your fear. But you have to know that blind faith is just that...blind. We can't predict our future relationships. We can only learn from our past mistakes and make certain that we don't repeat them.
If you find a bad pattern developing take caution that you aren't inviting it. YOU hold the key to YOUR fears. If you choose to repeat the things that went wrong in the past then you only have yourself to blame for your present and future.
Otherwise...as was said above...learn to appreciate the new experiences in this new relationship and keep your head held high and know that you are worthy! Sometimes low self esteem from past bad relationships keep us from commitment.

A very wise lady there ^^^ you should listen to her
And remember that in doing anything that's fun & exciting, there's always some danger of getting hurt...that's what makes it fun & exciting...
