I haven't liked clowns since I read Steven King's It. Scariest book I ever read in my life. Clowns and storm drains aren't a good thing!

My Story~ Friday Night Spanking

OF I belive they use them quite successfully here at the Royal Childrens Hospital

A clown quite innocently scared me as a child at the circus and for years when I was ill I would have nightmares about a little man chasing me with a chorus of women following in unison. The man had a silver vest and a bowler hat. The women wore plumes on their heads and had bathing suit like outfits on and it was in vivid color.....my screams were the first surround sound.

It wasn't until I was 17 and awoke with my mother standing over me trying to wake me up from my nightmare that I remembered it all.

I was 4 and my mom took me to the circus and a dwarf clown tapped me on the shoulder and offered me a balloon.....the women were the ones that climbed ropes and did fancy turns in unison.

I have never liked clowns and it took me years of anguish to find out why.

When my son had to have surgery when younger, the hospital had a guy that would dress as a clown to come in and calm the kids on the way to the operating room. I quashed that real quick. Can you imagine that being the last sight you see before going under anesthetic....they told me I couldn't go in with him but I got my way lol. because I figured if some dressed up stranger could go in there...so could I.
