Constant Garden

If any of you are interested in what I think is one of the most powerful movies of the year ... and, to me, a very likely Academy Award winner ... "Constant Garden" is the one to see. My wife and I just got back from it and it was fantastic. Great acting and a super powerful story.

A bit unusual in style with a lot of flashbacks and such ... set in Europe and Africa ... it requires your attention to figure out the story and follow the action. But the effort is well rewarded.

Actually, I have to admit, my wife saw a write-up in the paper and thought it sounded like it was worth a try. I'd never heard of it and didn't know anything about it. She ... and the paper ... were right. They gave it four stars out of four ... and I would second that rating.

Highly recommend it.

Wyndhy we think alike, I've just gotten a copy. I've only just started it though. I had a hunch the movie was going to be good so when I saw the book I snatched it up. I figured I'll read the book while waiting to rent the video when it comes out. Want me to pass it on when I'm done?
