Is anyone,in the Disneyworld area?The reason,that I ask,is that next week,my
wife & one grandson,are going there.My wife has been there,yrs ago,with my
other daughters family.I cannot go because of Drs.appts.The grandson,that
she is taking,has an Autistic brother.It is a good chance for him,because my
youngest daughter,has had to cancel,so many plans,that he was looking
forward to,because of something with his brother.I told my wife,to take him,
because he has never complained,because he Loves his brother & understands
I was wondering,if anyone,could reccommend any spots,in the area.Thanks!!

I live much north of there and have not been there often lately. We went to a MEDIEVAL TIMES dinner theater that my kids loved. I hear the Arabian Knights one is cool too.

I live in the Orlando area. Disney is very big. Animal Kingdom is tons of fun. I like all the theme parks in their own way. There is also Sea World and Universal Studios.

There are all kinds of restraunts, dinner theater and great stores.

Lilith---Watching,both kids,would be too much for my wife to handle.He is on
a special diet & can't talk.He has a notebook,with velcro pictures,attached,to
tell you what he wants.My daughter,understands him,very well,but she isn't on vacation then & can't go.As it is,she has worked out a deal,with Liberty
Mutual,to work only,Tues-Thurs,in the summer,because his autisticly trained
sitter couldn't be there!During school time,he goes to special classes & his
sitter is there until,my daughter gets off of work. Irish
P.S.It's a shitty life,for a 34 yr old,divorced mother!She,very rarley,gets any time,for herself!

Irish - That sounds fantastic. I'm actually taking the family to Disney World in September for my daughter's 4th birthday. It's great that you guys are doing that for your grandson. I'm sure that will give him a lifetime of memories!

((Irish)) Yeah I know but you daughter is doing all the stuff she can. And I admire her for working so hard to help Liam.

Actually it's great for your wife to give Killian some special attention. I know my oldest has had periods where I could see his brother's handicaps seem to handicap him too. Not easy to be the sibling of a special needs child. I think there are tons of gaming, putt-putt places etc. in that area too.
