I also have two of these lovelies. And they can be heated and chilled. I have put mine in the refrigerator or run it under cold water before use (but never used the freezer). On a particularly cold winter day I have also soaked it in steamy hot water for an instant warmup.

There is something about the durability and the cleanliness of it that I just love.
