Not to get serious but

As you know I'm the Georgia Peach and I have a serious problem with the United States and State of Georgia Government. I really need to know what is the big deal about gay and lessy marriages. With all the stuff going on like war and no jobs and stuff can they find some more trivial than this. OHH yeah Bush did isnt the little tyrant trying to put a man on Mars!!!! I say find Osama. get me a good paying job and forget the dumb stuff!!!

Sorry for the rant I just had to get that off my chest!.

The government should see to it that it IS legal. Whether specific churches want to perform such marriage ceremonies or not I would agree is up to them. However, with regard to civil ceremonies, it should be legal. It's a matter of equal rights for everybody.

Nikanik I'm with you. With most of the manufacturing jobs headed overseas and the possibility of the average Joe losing any hopes of retiring from the career he's devoted most of his life to.... why the hell is our government worried about who marries who????? Rant on neighbor.

Man and Woman nude in bed together.
Man reading newspaper with headline: "Court rules same-sex couples can marry."
Man: "It will make an absolute mockery of traditional marriage!"
Woman: "That's just what my husband says...!"

Thanks for letting me know I am not the only that thinks this way! Does anyone know that there are like over 1,000 goodies that married hetero couples get that gay couples cant even get with civil unions.

Doesn't suprise me at all nikanik. I had two friends that got around all this a couple years back. A gay male friend and a gay female friend of mine got married a few years back. At the time she worked for a major airline and he was a nurse. So she got his kick-ass health benefits and he got her kick-ass flight benefits. As far as letting same sex couples marry, I can't believe there's an argument AGAINST it. As someone said earlier...it's a civil right to marry who you want to reguardless of their sex. What...you can run a multi-billion dollar company, you can serve your country in the military..but you can't marry the person you love?...What the FUCK is up with that??? Sorry hon...I felt like ranting a bit too
