see, we're having this "Summer Bash" thing at work tomorrow and I'm in charge of music for my department. Stuff like Beach Boys, Elvis' Blue Hawaii, etc..I've got about 8 songs so far, but I'm having trouble thinking of more.

You can play a ton o' Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash (upbeat stuff) . . . the cool think with the '50s is that people had longer attention spans - you'll be able to play an entire Beach Boys album (if not three or four) and some of Elvis beach music and people will have tons o' fun.
