i am going to be going to orlando florida next month (no set date yet going to be a last min holiday) any one got any tips and advice e.g.will i need insect repellant by the way will be my first time flying p.s. i will be driving too(florida beware )

I'll give you the advice I was giving when coming over "the pond" to your land... when you get the rental car make sure that you do a few laps of the airport before getting on the highways (motorways to you)... and remember that you need to keep right on the roads

The insect repellent is no where near as crucial as a good SPF 30 sunscreen. You should apply it before you go to bed and then again in the morning before you go out for the day. After swimming or 6-8 hours reapply! You will not have near as much fun if you get sunburnt.

You will have a great time! Ask around, or even check the web, and find out where there may be clubs etc. that would suit your fancy
