Speaking of Lixy
Just received a nice note from LixyChick. Sister is not improving and may have slipped some. Hard to tell because she talks very little and it's not clear that she if formulating any significant thought trend. Sad, but not totally unexpected. Keep up the thoughts and prayers, they're still needed.
More recently, her husband has had surgery in an area that had previously been operated on for what they thought were three hernias. Discovered four. Surgery sounds like it was successful and he's regaining his strength. He's been off work and will be for a while so I'm sure things are a bit difficult for them although Lixy didn't say that. Anyway, it sounds like another opportunity for prayers and good wishes.
She did say to tell you all hello from the two of them and to thank you for your thoughts and prayers. And, she want's to thank those kind enough to remember her b'day.
If I hear more, I will certainly let you all know. I sent her a note telling her that there was a b'day post in her honor and that we all miss her a great deal. Also told her I was sure that there'd be lots of good thoughts and prayers coming her way for both her sister and her hubby.

I was thinking our lovely Pixie gals ... er ... I'm sorry ... you did say "blow things up" and not just "blow things." Gosh, now I don't know.
Oh well, back to the normal routine.

Apparently there's a nutter in Cairns who blows up plastic dolls.
