anyone ever hear of a movie......
called "Harold And Maude"?
It was a cult classic from the 70's i believe about a rich young man and an eccentric older lady .....well i've fallen in love with the soundtrack but as of yet haven't been able to locate it on the web any help out there? the soundtrack was done by Cat Stevens and not all of the tunes were released on his other albums..
any input at all may prove to be handy
alas the membership may be too young for it but it's worth a shot for such great music
ty in advance no actually i think i'll wait an thank you at the appropiate time lol

You are gonna be bummed out. There was no official soundtrack released for "Harold and Maude". There was an album released, but only in Japan. And it was released without the two tunes that were written just for the movie. Some info here

Ruth Gordon and Bud Cort...what a combo and what a movie!
The music is great and I think if you buy the box set of Cat Stevens you will find all the songs from the movie in there.
I loved Ruth Gordon in Rosemary's Baby too....

I'm glad to know other people know this movie, LOL. It's my dad's favorite movie, so I've seen it many many times. Especially since he recently got it on DVD.

I saw it after the Farrelly Bros. made reference to it in "Something About Mary". Pretty good flick, but I don't particularly remember the soundtrack.

a *bump*...
did you ever find the songs, bg? Because after watching the movie again, I've been looking for "If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out" and I can't find it anywhere... well, it's on CD, but I'm not gonna go out and buy a whole cd. Help?
