It might seem weird, but for Thanksgiving, stuffing is what I always look forward to the most. Then pie.
Hmmm, stuffing and pie.
Stuffing, pie.
Stuffing pie.
Maybe it's not so weird after all.

Home made apple pie. My mom makes the best pie ever. Her biscuits come out flat and hard, her breads don't rise, and she can't bake a cake to save her life, but she can bake one hell of a pie.

I had drunken sweet potatoes with Lil at Applebees 2006.
My doctor tells me my blood sugar will be back to normal sometime 2014.

Having Thanksgiving with my kids, unfortunately they live with their dad........fortunately I can play nice.
My ex and my 16 year old son will be cooking.....I most look forward to fried turkey.....it's sooooo good, really crispy outside and really juicy inside.
Yummy !!!!!!!

While I'm quite sure you do, you may as well douse them with pepper. They're on my 'Do Not Fly' list.

I'm sitting here still feeling rather stuffed from my awesome cooking. My favorites were the cranberry chutney. That stuff is like crack to anyone who tries it. I also made this awesome apple and cranberry stuffing that was somewhat healthy and very yummy. And for the first time I made balsamic and honey sweet potatoes in my crockpot that came out really nice.

I'm a stuffing person ... stuffing with gravy. Yum! Then, turkey sandwiches while I'm watching one of the football games. Yep. Great after-Thanksgiving foods. (I'll pick some other foods later as we near Christmas ... like the German candy/cake called "Cold Dog" (with rum of course).

My new fave is the reduced-sugar pecan pie my wife made for me this year. I told her it was a keeper!

Dearsweet's Creamed Spinach, and this year for the first time, my daughter’s Chocolate Chip Cookies. Another tradition passed to the next generation.
