FOUR AND TWENTY BLACKBIRDS

Four and twenty blackbirds,
That was the count, I think,
Sitting on the wire
Looking down the street.

A shining car was parked
At the corner house on Fleet,
It glistened in the sunlight,
And beckoned to the “beaks.”

As they pondered their attack plan,
And where they’d drop their poop,
Ol’ Jake the ornery devil
Looked and and yelled, “Gadzooks!”

There at the bedroom window
For all the birds to see
Was a couple having raunchy sex
Doing all from A to Z.

Jake proposed they dive there
And through the room they’d fly,
Pooping on the couple
And “cawing” out their cry.

It sounded like great fun
And they quickly all agreed,
The attack on that sex-crazed couple
Would certainly proceed.

Jake, well he took off then,
Followed by the rest
And they dove at their max speed
Towards the couples little nest.

Screaming out their war cry,
They never more could send,
As each crashed in the window,
They met their final end.

The lesson to be learned,
As it’s plainly clear to see,
Watch for windows cleaned with Windex
Lest you want no more to be.
