I dislike musicals
What can I say. I really get bored with Musicals. After about three songs I start counting how many left...

I like them too Pirates of Penzance kicks ass
Few people have the attention spans for musicals (or live theater in general, assuming that's what you meant).

I loooooooooooooooove musicals. I have the soundrack to Les Miserables, Rent, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Moulin Rouge and about 20 more. I actually got to see Miss Saigon in New York on Broadway. Highlight of my life. Into the Woods is my favorite on stage. Chicago and Moulin Rouge are my favorite movies. I was meant to be on stage.....alas...here sits another lonely housewife longing for the spotlight. *sigh*

I enjoy them though I've not seen many... I love Rent and have seen it several times... I've also seen Chicago on the stage... very good! Haven't been able to bring myself to see the movie.
*hijack alert* I generally enjoy theater... I loved Tap Dogs and STOMP! as well.

Like anything, I suppose it depends on which musicals. I always thought West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof were two of the best shows I ever saw and they were both musicals.
But, each person can choose ... that's what makes life fun.

A lot of traditional musicals I don't like. If someone were to do a stage production of some of Frank Zappa's concept albums, however....
