Help! Need advice on a better PC cam, a.s.a.p.! =)
I'm currently using a Quickcam PRO 4000, but the picture is really grainy no matter what I do. I am a semi-pro photographer, and know how to work lighting, so that's ample.
The only way to get a really clear picture from this thing is to use the low backlight setting, but that drops the frame rate, then I get mass amounts of motion blur!
Can anyone suggest a better camera? Or some way around this problem? I've tried everything! And I cant make good vids with the way this thing looks now.
Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Actually I'd rather know the answer to this myself lol cam's have always been a major pain in the ass and always seem grainy as hell no matter what lol
in other words I have no advice lol
my girlfriend suggests turning the Sharpness all the way off, and that helped her some, good luck

If you want to take decent quality photopraphs buy yourself a digital camera. The Canon EOS 305D / Digital Rebel XT is a great entry level digital SLR camera. Even a basic Canon A75 will do much better than most web cams.

Yes, to get really good quality still shots, you'll want at least a 3.0 megapixel digital camera.
However, if you also want the webcam capability, here's a good choice, assuming you're in a well-lit room (something other than a single 60-watt bulb in the ceiling). I use it and like it.
