Bourne Supremacy

Saw it last night. I thought it was good based on its own merits. If you read the books you will probably not like it.

What did the rest of you think of it?

I was just going to ask about that.I have "Starz" on my TV.By accident,I
watched the "Bourne Identity".I was very suprised!Matt Damon is a much better actor then I realised!I'm looking forward to it.I heard that there is a
Bourne triology. Irish

I enjoyed the Bourne Identity! Matt Damon was great (and I wasn't really a fan of his until that movie). I'm excited about the Bourne Supremacy, but I can wait to rent it!

Mackenzie---The new one is only in the theaters now.
The nice thing about "Starz" & HBO,is that I can tape them on my VCR,for
my grandchildren.I'm more "permissive" with kids,so I always check with my
daughters first.My daughters,grew up,in motorcycle shops & garages,so there's not much that they haven't seen or heard,but they are their kids.not
mine!My oldest daughter LOVES Colin Farrel.I taped "Phone Booth" for her &
she was overjoyed. Not only is he good looking but he's also Irish! Irish

I am so anxious to see this! I don't think Matt Damon is incredibly great looking or anything, but his way of plaything this character makes him very sexy.

I've read the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Supremacy and I've heard that the second movie isn't based on the Supremacy at all...but I don't care...still looks like an exciting flick and it has been getting great reviews!

Now I just need a date to the movie...Any takers??

saw the movie last night... the first one, in my opinion, was MUCH better than the follow on. I would give it a "Go see it if you are a fan... otherwise wait for video." I did not care for the extremely herky jerky cinematography and the story was not nearly as good as the first movie.

Saw the preview at the theatre today and that looked good, so your ^^^^ assessment is interesting. May wait for more opinions. (I also liked the original.)

Irish ~ The movies ARE based on a trilogy of books by Robert Ludlam. The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum.

Eros---Thanks!The previews looked good, but, usually, the previews are the
best parts.I have never read a story & then seen the movie, that I didn't like
the book better.I think that it is because, the movie, doesn't match the scenery, that you picture in your mind, when you read the book!(Just a
theory)When I was growing up,I read alot of books. The town library & library
grounds(huge) were accross the street from my parents house. It made for a
good excuse,to get out of the house,+all the girls, had the same excuse.Great
pick-up spot!(OOPS!Giving away secrets!) Irish

I've been kind of suprised by the number of reviews that have rated it very low. It was a good movie in and of itself. It may be based off of the books but it isn't a direct translation, people really do need to realize that before they judge.
