Big Purchases???
OK, I planned for it, cause I knew it would be a good chunk of change .... last week I had the eye appointment and ordered the glasses, including custom clip-on for sunglasses effect ... LOL .... anyway ...
What's the last (or next) big ticket purchase you made/will make??? Just so all of us can spend a bit of time day-dreaming about all the lovely possibilities.

Not really a huge purchase (in the global scheme of things), but the wife and I are thinking of purchasing the Skybox personal drink dispenser...

A new 'puter. My home pc is so screwed up, I can't access pixies. The content adviser is 'disabled' but still preventing me from getting in here. Bummer! Other url's too.

right now I am trying to get enough banked for that dreaded down payment and closing costs ... ayup... a house should be the next big purchase (though you really do not get to own it until 20 to 30 years later)

The last big ticket item was a 'puter (but I'm already getting the rebate checks back!) and now I have two bridesmaid dresses to buy for fall weddings!

I'm almost done paying on a new lense for my camera, and after that, we'll start saving for my digital SLR (next Christmas gift)

Our above-ground pool & refrigerator just "shit the bed"!The newer pools are taller then the old ones,so I'm having a "step"
built on my deck,so that people don't step on the edge.I'm having
our front garage door, replaced with an automatic one,for my wife.
I'm having a shorter front door, installed,on the other side,of the
front,for my mower/plow & snowblower.I'm also having the side
door & doorjamb replaced.New tires for my car, etc.
Pool-$4000+,two truckloads of water-$400,Step for deck-$?,
Garage-$?,Tires & balancing-$?=$4400+$?My car transmisson,is
also leaking.I'd fix it myself,if it was manual transmisson. It's auto
+4WD,& I know nothing about automatic trans!
This is retirement?I have to check everything myself, anyway!
Irish
P.S.We also just bought a new 4?" TV+DVD+VCR.
