Anyone else here use wireless Internet? On the 16th of Feb, I was only on some crappy 56K connection here @ home, but now the world is my oyster. I use a little USB based device called NetGear - fucking wicked! I get 100% connection near the reciever, but a maximum of 7.5M away I get around 70%! And the speed is no different, I find! And they say it doesn't go through walls.

Obviously I use a laptop.

If I'm using my laptop at home to access the internet then I'm on wireless......I've used that upstairs while the router is sat happily chugging away downstairs I love my ADSL connection and the 4Gb of porn I downloaded err I mean that suddenly appeared on my system

Like Fussy above... when on the laptop it is via wireless. Makes it nice to not have to drag a cable from the computer room out when I want to sit on the couch with it

all were waiting on is the modem so we can go wireless any day now it shud be here and i cant wait. our reason for it was we now have not only a PC ( that is very sick and in quarentine untill we get it cured) adn my new iBook( that is the most wonderfull system in the world) and we dont want cords everywhere
