Oh Lil! They will be here too! At the Wachovia Center....in April!
And.......my birthday is coming! *jabs Mr Lixy (whom I know will be reading this) in the ribs with my pointy elbow!*
If (and I do say "if") I don't happen to go Lil.....could you tell Steven that I'm still waiting for that proposal!
And....BTW.....I met Cheap Trick (the entire band) way back when they were up and coming. It was at a local club I frequented....in N.J. I worked for Columbia Records (in special packaging and promotions) and got comp. tickets to go backstage and talk with them. Robin Zander is shorter than me.....and didn't I go ahead and blurt out that fact when we shook hands!!!!??? I also asked them if the Harley's on their first album cover was theirs....and they said NO! LOL! Oh well....I liked them anyway!
Have you ever seen Aerosmith Lil? Mr. Lixy says it is one of the best concerts he's ever seen because they sound exactly like they do if you are listening to them at home! Keep in mind he's seen Pink Floyd and CSN....and bands of that caliber! Hope you enjoy as much as we did/do!
Oh....just thought of something! Mr. Lixy showered and dressed and went out early today. Said he needed parts for his heater in the barn. So happens....tix go on sale for the concert today! Coincidence? I hope not!

Lilith! You'll love em! I'm telling you........doesn't matter their age! They are tireless and timeless! The show is hopping! I couldn't sit down when we saw them at Hershey Stadium! And they play to everyone! They had a stage in the middle of the outdoor arena. It was covered up for the first part of the show. About the middle of the concert.....all the guards in the stadium went up on the main stage and huddled around the band.....the band unplugged their equiptment and went down the steps.....the guards gently pushed back the crowd and took them to the center of the stadium....the band got up on the stage and the peeps way in the back started pushing forward to center stage.....Steven told them not to hurt anyone, but that they came back to give the people who couldn't see so well.....their money's worth! Steven asked what they wanted to hear.....and then you heard him say, "Oh...you still like all that old shit, huh?"....and they went on to play stuff from "Toys in the Attic" and nearly all their old stuff.....and then they were guided back to the main stage again. As they were making way through the crowd....I watched Steven (specifically) and he was shaking hands with some and kissing others.......and I wanted to be down there at the moment.....even though I could never stand all those people crowding around me! LOL! Anyway.......they have never disappointed me in all the times I have seen them! You'll love the concert....I am sure of it!
P.S. Mr. Lixy just got back from the store..........with parts for his heater......*sigh*

<~~~ maybe a little bird will drop him a hint
They have a huge T set up that extends from the stage or so it appears in the seating chart I was using to buy the tix online. I hope I am not stuck with the old fuddy duddies like I was at the Eagles....I don't sit at concerts. You sit at the symphony not at a rock concert!!!

I agree Lil! In order to NOT get on anyone's nerves....and beings we were in the stands and not down inside the arena (seats were from right side of the band as they faced the audience...but up from the crowds....2nd level....just above stage level......perfect seating for a claustrophobic like me)......I got out of my seat on the end of the row...and stood on the steps...holding on to the railing and dancing and singing to my hearts content!
Just thought of something else! I sure am asking for a lot for my B-day, huh? A cam....tix to Aerosmith......LOL! Well...he has a choice now. Oh! And there is still Valentine's Day!
I'd better shut up now cause I already asked for a water filter for the kitchen for Valentine's Day! Oh....I am soooooo fickle!

Saw 'em on Pump, Get a Grip and Nine Lives tours...and kicked ass every damn time...Steve, Joe, Brad, Tom, and Joey are by far the best band I've ever seen live!
