Best of the Worst
Which actor/ role was to you, the epitome of a "bad guy"? When you think "evil" or "boogie man" what actor/ role comes to mind?

Gary Oldman..."Dracula", "Fifth Element", "JFK", "The Contender", "Air Force One". He can really give you the creeps.
He doesn't play the good guy very often.

Christopher Walken is, I think, the Epitome of "Bad"..... even when he's played the "good" guy! (I think he's ever so slightly 'crazy', too!!)

James Caan man, and not just in the movies, in real life he's been indicted (more than once if i recall) for ties to organized crime.

Walken has made a name for himself as a bad guy, but the actors that normally play good guys are the ones who make the best bad guys. Denzell Washington in Training Day and Kevin Spacey in The Usual Suspects come to mind.
PS...Oldman will be taking a turn for the good in the next Harry Potter movie playing Harry's godfather Sirius Black!!

I think Allan Rickman in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves played a excellent bad guy, in fact for me he stolle the show from Kevin Cosner. He wasn't bad in Die Hard either.

Christopher Walken in "View To A Kill"
Robert Davi in "License to Kill"
Bruce Willis in "The Jackal"
On looks, alone, I'd go with Davi. Personality-wise, I'd go with psycho Walken. Willis was just cold in the movie.

I have to agree with muskateer. Allan Rickman is so over the top, he was great, playing on the fears and superstitions of those around him.
Ray Liotta also played some bad guys very well.
