Man murders parents over rubber sex doll
A man in Brazil has been charged with murdering his parents after he was apparently told he couldn't keep a rubber sex doll.
Carlos Alberto Canuto, 44, from Santana de Parnaiba, Sao Paulo, was arrested after he confessed to the crime according to Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper.
Canuto told police he was upset with his parents because they told him he couldn't keep the female doll.
A police spokesman said: "He told us the rubber doll was his companion and his lover and that his parents would not accept it because they were living in sin.
"He said his parents were very religious and that the only way for him to continue his relationship was to kill them. He talks about the doll as if it was a real person."
Canuto is awaiting trial.
