He came from miles away to earn a living in Mumbai, but now Parkeet Manjhi lies in the city's KEM hospital, hopefully recovering after a terrible incident.

While his life is out of danger the mental trauma continues, and at times makes Manjhi feel suicidal.

According to him, four women cut off his genitals in the Uran region of Raigarh on June 8.

"I was going to the toilet. A girl called out to me and then other girls came out from behind the bushes. They asked me to have sex with them, but when I refused one of them pounced on me and then the others cut it off and I fainted," narrated Manjhi.

The police in Uran have travelled to Mumbai to get details of the incident from Parkeet as it's still unclear why he was targeted. But they say this is the third such incident in two years where women in that region have attacked men and cut off their genitalia.

M S Patil of Uran Police, said, "We have collected the victim's blood sample and are investigating the matter."

It's felt that incidents such as this could be a backlash reflecting the acute anger women feel towards men, but no real conclusions can be drawn until the police finishes its investigation.

Lesson #1: Never turn down a woman who wants to sleep with you. Lesson #2: Be afraid, be very afraid, when 4 women want to sleep with you at once.
