I was dating a guy I was completely unhappy with sexually and intellectually last year and then a new buck came to town.

My doubts about the first guy clouded my judgment . . . the second guy was wonderful - sexually open, etc. I told him about Pixies and he decided to use all the search engines to read my posts and that's how he realized I was dating him and the other guy at once! I felt sooooooooo bad explaining it to him.

Has anyone else faced similar situations? Your S/O has read something here that was like a journal entry but it wasn't?

I post here so much there are times I forget what I posted from week to week.........but I have never posted anything that I don't mind ANYONE reading.....including hubby! I'm sure he has been shocked by some of my stuff.......and I used to post to the 10,000 member fuck-fest.....and never told him about it......and he just recently did a search and read some of my old posts......and he said, "OMG! That was sooooooooo sexy!"

So.......I guess my answer is no......my deepest thoughts (believe it or not) are still in my head and I'll not freak him out with those just yet! LOL!

I have posted a few things I'm not that proud of, but only one did I feel I should not have and with Lilith's help got it removed. That said I haven't introduced her to the site yet, but plan on it next time she is down. After that I will probably have some explaining to do, including this post.

I never would have thought someone from my RL would quote something I wrote from Pixies. Hell, I didn't think people from here read what I wrote!

It was more of a misunderstanding - Tyler and I were friends and I was still dating guy number one. I ended my first relationship when I realized I had feelings for Tyler but didn't tell him how close the dates were. Why stir the pot if it's not needed?

I have sertainly posted things here which certain people might not want to read. My ex introduced me to the stories on this site, so it's entirely possible that he's a member/lurker and if so he'll have read loads of things he won't like.

There's also another ex whom I believe to be a lurker who's been mentioned here, plus someone else whom I KNOW is here and about whom I've posted the occasional comment that he won't like, but to be honest, if they don't like it, tough. I've said nothing dishonest and if they can't handle the truth that's their problem not mine. I say what I say not to hurt them, but to give people here a better understanding of me and my past experiences and I hope that anyone who knows me in RL knows that I'm not a spiteful person, just a horribly tactless one at times!

One of my problems is that I've used the 'dadaist' handle since 1994. So it wouldn't take much to link me here with online pages (especially since they're in my profile, duh), do a little work on Google, etc, and find out more about me than anyone should, including probably home address and phone number.

So.....
I've not told anyone I know in person about Pixies and don't intend to.
I don't blog and I don't intend to (unless I can find a way of doing it more pseudo-anonymously, with changed names).
And I don't post anything beyond G-rated pics here!

Can you imagine how a conversation in a job interview would turn if all of THAT were put together? eek.
