Happy Canada Day.

Australia's Northern Territory has had it's own special day today,

as today is the 30th anniversary (or so) of limited self-government.

We can run our own affairs so long as Canberra doesn't over-rule us.

We had fire-works, one of only two places in Oz where irresponsible people like me

can let off explosives in public drinking champagne in the company of consenting witnesses.
