I just want to say this: I rank the inventor of panties right along with the other greatest criminals in history -- Idi Amin, Genghis Khan, Pol Pot, Alexander Graham Bell, and Mrs. Panty.

It had to be a woman. No man would conceive of such a nefarious, anti-lust device. Decorate them and diminish them as you will, they're still chastity belts in disguise.
