I think that the Northern border is fine now. Living on the Canadian border, I have watched to border crossings get stricter lately, which is good, because anyone could cross before. But the customs process is grueling, and I think that it is good as it is.

Side note: I think the idea of requiring passports to go to Canada is ridiculous.
