Another reason why I love this place... and always find myself coming back even when life pulls me away...

I have had strokes... 3 so far... my first was when I was 20 weeks pregnant with my first son... the second when I was 34 weeks pregnant (the nite he died in utero).. and again.. New Years Eve last year....

Each one (thankfully) mild.. with no lasting side effects... but absolutely the scariest.. and strangest experiences of my life... when asked to discribe them.. the best I can do is to compare them with what I imagine would be an out of body experience... very strange...

at the time of my 1st stroke I was only 23 years old... so it can happen to anyone... and the causes are not usually clear... so I urge each of you to remember the symtoms..
