Events as big and tragic as the Tsunami need to be dealt with, 'cos if they aren't
they become a leaden lump in your soul.
People need to get past the little voice that says, "Thank God it wasn't me" and the shame
the voice brings.
People need to get past the reality that no matter how much aid is poured in, we cannot
make this thing not have happened.
Humour takes all these a step away from us, giving a space for healing to start.
There is nothing we can do for those who wish to wallow in the horror, but as the kids say,
"Build a bridge" and think of practical things to help the survivors.
