I couldn't help think of something that happened today. I am a hospice nurse, and one of my patients this morning called his wife to his bedside and told her, "Honey, if I die today, don't think it has anything to do with it being Friday the 13th. If the good Lord wants to take me today, I'm ready to go." He told her how much he loved her, and they shared a cup of coffee as she sat at his bedside. All of his children arrived to be with him and his wife shortly thereafter. And about an hour after that, he died. You couldn't meet a sweeter, more loving man; it was just like him to try to reassure his wife in any way that he could.
